It's hard to believe that so many people have such positive "reviews" of this host. IXWebHosting is terrible. The outsourced customer service people who work the chat, email and ticket support speak/type poor English and are practically useless, very disappointing. Even when using a dedicated IP, IX's servers are always very slow, regular downtimes and vulnerable to any attacks. The only reason I stayed with them for five years was because I was too inexperienced to know how easy it was to pack up and leave such hosting. It's now 2011 and IX still doesn't have PHP 5 support on its older server blocks - where my sites were. For me to take advantage of PHP5 and other modern options, IX required me to manually move all of my sites onto a new server it is basically all the hassle that I was trying to avoid by staying with them for all these years.IX loyalty means nothing to them. Goodbye IX and the horrible tech support!

Brand is very popular and great, but the product which I was suspecting wasn't so great, for fact I got lured with good expectations, but I got disappointed. Why? Because for last month I had for more than 4 downtimes per week, only good thing about this company is their good technical support which was helping me as much as possible.

They have good hosting plans and price is reachable but I wasn't satisfied enought with their services, also support was friendly, helpful , but somehow I'm still having issues with them for refund. It is almost a month, I hope it will get solved, because I'm starting to worry that I got scammed.

I have three websites running on ixwebhosting, until now they are still running very well. Very fast server with reasonable price,a lot of features, good help and support service.
The only problem I had with ixwebhosting was setting up my email,but it was resolved by customer support.
I would highly recommend this hosting!

I love IX! I just wish they would offer Joomla 7 in the Easy Apps directory. Also I love the idea of the Tech Support Hero. Everything so far so great! I have turned on few of my clients to IX.

I advise you not to use IX web hosting if you believe you will ever need to download or upload a large site. They have a 2MB up/download limit, a system that does not allow you to archive anything over 2MB or unarchive anything. What is horrible. Customer support is virtually non existent for anytime after "prime calling hours", it is impossible to reach someone for any help. Please head my advice and stay away from IX Hosting otherwise you will waste your money.

I'm not professional in building websites. I just have my own site that has 2 domain names hosted at IXWebHosting.com (the 2 different domains lead to the same site). The site I use is just for my hobby and for fact my son helped me build the site and I maintain it during the last 6-7 months. I've been with them for just under a half of year and only had 3 downtimes for about 5-20 mins each. If you know anything about hosting, you know that is AWESOME. I am really happy with IXWebHosting hosting.
